When you are a food truck owner, many things can go wrong. “There are going to be things that are going to sway you, that can come at you all at once and it can be really rough for you. You just have to stick with it and keep your faith.” That’s Genea’s advice for entrepreneurs that are new to the food truck industry.
Since starting Brooklyn Organic Coffee and Tea, Genea has dealt with broken generators, stolen machinery, limits on city permits and strict health standards.
After working for a health and wellness company, Genea developed a desire to help others make changes in lifestyle and food choices. This desire helped inspire her to start Brooklyn Organic Coffee and Tea.
“I noticed that many of the food truck options around were fried foods. I wanted to provide an alternative,” explained Genea.
