For seven years, Carlene O’Garro ran a wholesale baking business preparing delicious desserts for markets and restaurants.
O’Garro became a recipient of a microloan from Accion, supported bySamuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program, which enabled her to open the bakery.
At an opening day celebration, O’Garro said, “I ended up crying. That’s when it hit me it was official that I grew my business to the next level.”
